  • A historical romance set in the court of Marie Antoinette and told from the point of view of one of her "best friends". Plenty of romantic tension and intrigue.

  • This is one of my favorite books to read. It takes you through the struggles of Marie Antoinette's best friend as they are sent to Versaille to marry their arranged husbands, hers which will have you thinking to yourself what an utterly loathsome man he is and cheering for Cordelia as she struggles to keep her fierce spirit intact.
