  • The waitrons at Zuni treat you like something they just scraped off their shoes unless they're trying to pick you up, but the food's fabulous. The cookbook passes on Zuni techniques (some learned from Chez Panisse) so that some of the fabulousness rubs off on the user.

  • I lived a few blocks from Zuni back in the early 90's. I use to walk past the restaurant every night on my way home from work. The smells eminating from inside woke up every sense in my body, propelling me to walk faster so I could get home and cook dinner...or, on occassion, I would just ditch home and eat there!! I'm so excited I can buy the cookbook and recreate the dishes in my own kitchen now that I live on the East Coast!!
