  • Very Noir! Over the top. A very "it was a dark and stormy night" gum shoe story. Easy, read. A little too telegraphed, but fun none the less.

  • Predictable. The fact that it is called The Chicago Way, and is very inaccurate to locations and facts about Chicago makes me think he didn't do enough research. Simply by going to the Jack in the Box website will tell you that there are only 2 such restaurants in all of Illinois. Both of which are in Alton. Not in Chicago.
