    It's hard for me to review this book objectively, as I find Klinghoffer's conservative opinions odious.

    In his defense, he's obviously intelligent (unlike many conservatives) and since he draws primarily from the Bible and various ancient and medieval Jewish legal and spiritual texts as opposed to contemporary Republican politicians and talking points his rhetoric is less obnoxious than many other authors would be making the same points.
