GREAT BOOK!
I read this book for a class and I was throughly impressed with this book. I feel the author researched the topic extremely well and holds nothing back in some details. I learned a lot about the plague from reading this book. a lot that i had not recently learned in classes prior to reading this book. The author gives a lot of detail about the origin of the Black Death, the effects of the plague, the course of the plague from Mongolia to Europe, and many other things that you would never think were related to the plague are discussed in this book. The author even gives a great amount of attention to the recent group of scientist and historians called "The Plague Deniers". I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about the plague.
