8th book coming out maybe?
I remember Rowlings putting out some kind of release information, not necessarily saying an 8th book. but mainly what happens to them, like Harry's occupation, who Luna marries and actually, worthless information. I think She should write a couple more books, but then again I just like the first 7 enough to want it. there was plenty of rumors questioning the aftermath books, mainly its a wait and see thing.

The Tales of Beetle the Bard comes out officially on December 4th 2008. You can preorder it for like $10 or less. With a discount card it's only $7 something at Books-A-Million also. As far as I know we are having a midnight release party on the 3rd.The Tales of Beetle the Bard is a book that was mentioned in the 7th book, don't remember when, and, as far as I know, is a bunch of wizard fairy tales.
Facebook User about 1 year agoI would find a book on Voldemort interesting, but I think it would be hard to write with out it being just too trite. I was always interested to see how he went from wounded abandoned kid to super-evil snake-man, but it was only just snippets. I think it would be interesting if maybe a play on Tom Riddle's diary was done - now that could be something.
Elizabeth about 1 year agoBut let's not kid anyway - much as I hated to see it end, 7 books is a lot for a series so any more at this point would just be pitiful. It would have to be something different and new or it wouldn't do anything but get bad reviews.
I don't mean another book. I mean another series. Something shorter? Yes. You can't compete with Harry Potter. But just a few books about Voldemort's life. She would have to write it in a different style though.
Facebook User about 1 year agoI hope she stands by her decision to not write another one, but I would love it if she did anyway. I like that idea of the 3 years before Harry was born. My favorite part of 7 was finding out about Snape.
Facebook User 9 months agoJK Rowling is NOT writing an eighth Harry Potter novel and she never will. She already said it. She said there exists the very slight possibility of her returning to the Wizarding World she created, but never to Harry's story. So the answer is NO.
Juan 7 months agoShe only wrote the Harry Potter prequel, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and is now preparing a Harry Potter encyclopedia, where she will give more information about the vast universe she's crafted. But that's it. She's not even writing the encyclopedia yet. That's just a project.
NO 8TH BOOK.
The series has ended. Definitely.... and sadly.
