    Really enjoyed this memoir of Hemingway's time in Paris during the 1920's, especially his romps with Gertrude Stein and Scott Fitzgerald, and his musings about Dostoevsky.

    a resounding OK. chapter 11 was absolutely dreadful; i recommend skipping it entirely. the second half reminded me a bit of crime and punishment, and i really enjoyed the ending.
