Reviews I've Written

  • Herd: How to Change Mass Behaviour by Harnessin...
    Mark Earls

One of the most poorly organized and sloppily written books I've ever read. It read like sandpaper. But, there is some invaluable food for thought that's pulled together from different sources. I have mixed feelings about this book....

  • The Walk West: A Walk Across America 2 (Walk West)
    Peter Jenkins

Four stars for the adventure, and the candidness, rather than the writing.

  • Nine Lives: Death and Life in New Orleans

If you live in, have lived in, or even think about New Orleans, you need to read this book. It is one step toward being able to share the common but ineffable experience that is New Orleans. A great insight into what is likely the most misunderstood human landscape in the modern world and one of the last bastions of authenticity in America.
