Reviews I've Written

  • Snow Crash
    Neal Stephenson

I really liked this one. Cryptonomicon was excellent until the last 20 pages. Snow Crash started terribly but got really good. Pick it up and just push through the whole opening. It's worth it.

  • Fool
    Christopher Moore

Not the best Christopher Moore book I've read, but it definitely had it's moments. Worth checking out

  • Evil Genius
    Catherine Jinks

The concept was solid but never really came together. She just sort of gave up on making anything interesting out of the evil faculty. What is it about this generation of authors getting so hung up on teenage boys who are internally conflicted (I'm looking at you Lucas, Rowling, Jinks, whoever wrote the first three Batman movies, etc)? Enough with the inner turmoil, let's get the plot moving.
